The ability to write has contributed greatly to the progress of humanity throughout history. In fact, without writing we wouldn't have a recorded history to speak of; this article overviews the history of the writing pens that brought us great novels and world changing writing. There are so many stories floating around on the web about where pens originated from. Who came up with the idea of pens? What happened that led to the invention of pens? There are so many variations it's really hard to answer those questions without questioning the source.
Some say the ancient Indians were the first to use pens. They used bird feathers to write literature in 5000 B.C.
