In Final Fantasy 14, leveling up can seem like a nightmare at times. In this Final Fantasy XIV leveling guide, I will be revealing the top 3 methods for leveling up quickly and efficiently in FFXIV.
Tip #1: Always Solo Your Leves
This is certainly a controversial tip, but I consider it key to leveling up quickly in Final Fantasy XIV. Leves should be done to earn faction points, gil, and class marks. Unfortunately, as the game stands right now, these should not be used as a major source of experience points past level 8. About cheap ffxiv gold
For this reason, you do not want to spend to much time doing leves. Solo them quickly on 1-star difficulty so you can get back to leveling up as quickly as possible.
Tip #2: Earn Most of Your Experience Points from Leveling Groups
In Final Fantasy XIV, leveling up works in a very unusual way. Each person you add to the group increases the amount of skill points you earn when fighting a monster. As a result, you will earn a ton of experience points when in larger groups (6- as opposed to when playing solo.
Using the party search function is a great way to find a party as there are usually always parties looking for leveling partners. Simply join a group and do some grinding for a few hours; a good group can earn in excess of 10,000 skill points an hour. Leveling up is a breeze when you are earning that much experience points! Tip #3: Make Sure to Use a Good Camp
Leveling groups backfire when the leveling camp is poorly chosen. At lower levels, there usually is not enough monsters at any given camp to support leveling up. As a result, groups do not earn much experience points as you will spend most of your time standing around waiting for monsters to appear.
A good Final Fantasy 14 leveling guide will have camps listed for you to choose from so that you always know where to go to get experience points. As a general rule of thumb, you will end up soloing until about level 16, use 2-man parties until level 19, and from level 19 on you can start using 4-8 man parties.
Once you start to reach a higher level, the leveling camps hold more and more players, which will allow you to earn a lot of experience points with a large group!
